Sweet Short User Service Agreement
1. Introduction and Validity of the Agreement
Welcome to use the products and services of Sweet Short. Before you access, browse, register for or use any services of Sweet Short, please read the full content of this User Service Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") carefully.
This Agreement constitutes a legally binding formal contract between you and the operating entity of Sweet Short. We specially remind you to pay close attention to clauses concerning liability assumption, breach consequences, disclaimer and limitation of compensation liability.
By accessing, registering an account or using Sweet Short’s services in any form, you confirm that you have fully read, accurately understood and voluntarily agreed to be bound by all clauses of this Agreement. If you disagree with any content of this Agreement, please stop using all products and services of Sweet Short immediately.
Definition of Relevant Parties:
- Operator / We / Us: A legal entity duly incorporated and responsible for the product design, operation and maintenance of Sweet Short.
- User / You: Any natural person who accesses, registers for or uses the products and services of Sweet Short.
2. Account Management, Security and Eligibility for Use
2.1 User Capacity for Civil Conduct and Guardian Liability
If you are under 18 years old or legally deemed to have no full capacity for civil conduct, you must read and understand the entire content of this Agreement accompanied by your legal guardian, especially the relevant regulations on minor usage.
If you register or use the services without satisfying the above conditions, you shall bear all adverse consequences arising therefrom independently. Sweet Short reserves the right to terminate service provision and close your access permission directly.
2.2 Code of Healthy Internet Usage for Minors
Users under the age of 18 shall abide by the following online code of conduct under the guidance of their guardians:
Clearly distinguish the boundary between the virtual online environment and real life to prevent internet addiction from disrupting normal study and daily life;
Attach importance to protecting personal privacy and information security;
Develop healthy and beneficial internet usage habits under reasonable guidance from guardians;
Enhance safety awareness, do not trust invitations from strangers, and stay away from all forms of illegal online activities.
We recommend parents or legal guardians to appropriately supervise minors’ online activities. Sweet Short implements special protection for minors’ personal information. If a guardian believes that a minor (especially children under 10 years old) is suitable to use this platform, it is recommended that the guardian register an account in their own name and be fully responsible for assessing whether the platform content is appropriate for the minor to watch or use.
2.3 Account Login and Security Custody
You may experience partial basic services via guest mode. To improve account security and reduce loss risks, we recommend that you log in via Google Account or other authorized login methods officially designated by Sweet Short.
You bear direct responsibility for the security of your account, password and relevant identity verification information. Please log out safely after each use. If your account is accessed or used illegally by others due to improper personal custody (such as password leakage, insufficient security measures), you shall bear all losses and legal liabilities arising therefrom. Sweet Short shall not be liable for compensation for account information leakage, privacy disclosure and any consequential losses not caused by our fault.
3. Service Usage Rules, Devices and Intellectual Property Rights
3.1 Scope of Authorization and Usage Restrictions
Unless otherwise agreed in writing with Sweet Short, you may only use our services for personal and non-commercial purposes. You shall use the services only through channels officially released or explicitly authorized by Sweet Short. The usage right granted to you under this Agreement is personal and shall not be transferred to any third party.
3.2 Terminal Equipment and Expense Liability
You shall purchase mobile phones, computers and other hardware equipment required to use Sweet Short’s services at your own cost. All network communication fees, data traffic charges and other expenses incurred during service usage shall be borne by you. You acknowledge that service usage will occupy storage space and network bandwidth of your device.
3.3 Client Software License
Certain service functions require you to download and install the official client of Sweet Short. For such software, Sweet Short grants you a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive usage license solely for the purpose of accessing and using Sweet Short’s services.
3.4 Version Update and Maintenance
Sweet Short may release software updates from time to time to optimize user experience, enhance security and iterate functions. You shall upgrade the client to the latest version. If you fail to update in a timely manner, Sweet Short cannot guarantee the continuous stable operation of the old version software or the integrity of services.
3.5 Prohibition of Intervention by Unofficial Tools
Without explicit written authorization from Sweet Short, you are prohibited from using any third-party plug-ins, extensions or tools to interfere with, damage, tamper with or conduct other acts endangering the normal operation of platform services. Violation of this clause shall be deemed a material breach of contract. Sweet Short has the right to suspend or permanently ban your account immediately, and detain all fees you have paid as liquidated damages; if the actual losses of the Platform exceed such amount, we reserve the right to pursue further compensation through legal channels.
3.6 Intellectual Property Protection
The trade names, trademarks, Logos and other commercial marks used by Sweet Short, as well as texts, software, audios, videos, pictures, graphic materials and other content on the Platform are protected by trademark rights, copyrights, trade secrets and other intellectual property rights, which belong to Sweet Short or relevant licensors.
Without written permission from Sweet Short or the right holder, you shall not conduct the following acts: (1) Modify, copy or reproduce platform content; (2) Distribute, publicly disseminate or display such content; (3) Sub-license, transfer or sell such content; (4) Create derivative works based on the original content; (5) Any other acts infringing intellectual property rights. The above acts constitute a material breach of contract. Sweet Short has the right to terminate services immediately, require you to destroy illegal materials, and pursue your civil legal liabilities.
4. User-Published Content and Infringement Complaint Mechanism
4.1 Liability for Published Content
You shall bear the copyright ownership and all legal liabilities for any content uploaded, published or transmitted by you via the Sweet Short Platform. You warrant that the published content is of legal origin, either owned by yourself or fully and legally authorized by the copyright owner.
4.2 Authorization for Platform Usage of User Content
You acknowledge and agree that Sweet Short may use your published content to the extent necessary to perform this Agreement and ensure the normal operation of platform services.
4.3 Infringement Complaint Handling
If Sweet Short receives a legally compliant infringement notice submitted by a right holder, the Platform has the right to directly delete, block or take down the allegedly infringing content.
5. Charging Policy, Subscription and Virtual Asset Rules
5.1 Service Pricing and Mode Adjustment
Sweet Short reserves the right to set some services as free or paid. Certain premium functions are paid benefits, and you shall abide by the corresponding special service agreements before use. Specific prices and rules will be displayed on relevant pages. Refusal to pay will prevent you from accessing the corresponding paid functions.
Sweet Short reserves the right to adjust service prices, recharge rules, charging standards and convert free services to paid services according to operational strategies. The updated rules shall form an integral part of this Agreement and take effect upon publication. We will issue a notice in advance before the price adjustment takes effect. Your continued use of services shall be deemed acceptance of the new rules; you may cease usage if you disagree.
5.2 Monthly Subscription and Confirmation
Paid on-demand content on the Platform adopts a monthly subscription system, valid from the date you complete payment. Sweet Short only guarantees your normal viewing access during the valid subscription period. The Platform shall not be liable if the content fails to play after the subscription expires. Once a content subscription order is confirmed, it is irrevocable and unchangeable. Subscription fees are non-refundable under any circumstances (including subsequent service suspension, takedown or content removal) unless specially approved in writing by Sweet Short.
5.3 Virtual Currency Redemption and Order Rules
Some products on the Platform require redemption with virtual currency, and different products may correspond to specific currencies. A recharge order takes effect upon successful payment and cannot be revoked or modified. Please carefully verify the receiving account and order information before recharging. Sweet Short shall not be liable for losses caused by your personal input errors, misunderstanding of rules or operational mistakes.
5.4 Restrictions on Virtual Currency Circulation and System Abnormalities
Users are prohibited from conducting private transactions, resale or scalping of virtual currency on the Platform. Such acts constitute serious violations, and Sweet Short may impose restrictions or disposal measures without prior notice. If the credited amount in your account is inconsistent with the actual payment amount due to a system failure and the platform data is verifiable and restorable: (1) If the credited amount is insufficient, the Platform will make up the difference; (2) If the credited amount is excessive, the Platform reserves the right to recover the overage.
5.5 Third-Party Payment and Disposal of Illegal Funds
When recharging via a third-party payment channel, you shall abide by the service agreement of the payment provider and ensure payment security on your own. Fund disputes arising from third-party channels shall be resolved between you and the third party, and Sweet Short shall not be liable. If your account is frozen or banned due to violations, you have no right to require Sweet Short to refund or compensate any fund balance in your account.
5.6 Refund for Account Balance
The balance recharged into your account may only be used to redeem platform services. Consumed balance is non-refundable. For unused balance, if you submit a refund application which is approved after review, we will refund the amount in legal tender via the original payment channel and charge a handling fee equivalent to 10% of the refund amount. If refund via the original channel is unavailable, you may contact customer service to negotiate an alternative refund method.
6. Advertisements, Third-Party Services and Risk Reminders
6.1 Advertisement Display and Instructions for Paid Users
You agree that Sweet Short has the right to display commercial advertisements or promotional content in services either directly or through third parties. We may adjust advertising strategies according to operational needs without separate notice. You acknowledge that advertisements may still be displayed to you even if you have made payments. Acceptance of advertisement display constitutes part of the consideration for you to obtain comprehensive services.
You shall judge the authenticity of advertising content independently and make transaction decisions at your own discretion. Except for cases mandated by law, you shall bear all consequences arising from consumption based on advertisements or derivative transactions, and Sweet Short shall not be liable for compensation.
6.2 Third-Party Products and Services
When you jump to or use third-party products, websites or services through Sweet Short, you shall comply with both this Agreement and the independent rules of the third party. Sweet Short and the third party shall perform their respective contractual obligations independently in accordance with laws and cooperation agreements. Disputes arising from third-party services shall be handled by the liable party.
6.3 Disclaimer for High-Risk Scenarios
Sweet Short services are not designed for high-risk core scenarios such as nuclear facility operation and maintenance, military affairs, emergency medical treatment and transportation. Sweet Short shall not bear legal liability for personal injury, property loss or environmental pollution caused by system failures in the aforementioned scenarios.
6.4 Anti-Fraud Reminder
Stay alert to unfamiliar SMS messages or private messages involving loans, verification code requests, asset verification and similar content. Before conducting fund transfers or sensitive information operations, always verify the identity of the counterparty and protect your property in accordance with the security notices released by Sweet Short.
7. User Code of Conduct and Violation Disposal
7.1 Compliance with Laws and Regulations
During service usage, you shall strictly abide by all applicable current laws and regulations, local legal norms and public order and good morals. You shall bear all consequences arising from violations of local laws or public order.
7.2 Prohibited Activities Using the Platform
You are prohibited from using Sweet Short to engage in any illegal activities or acts disrupting platform order, including but not limited to: (1) Publishing content endangering national security, social stability or public order and good morals; (2) Disseminating abusive, defamatory, pornographic, violent and other illegal information; (3) Infringing others’ intellectual property rights or civil rights and interests; (4) Fabricating false information or conducting fraud; (5) Mass distribution of spam advertisements; (6) Other activities prohibited by law.
7.3 Restrictions on Political Activities and Mass Incidents
You shall not participate in political activities or public mass incidents via the Sweet Short Platform. Once discovered, Sweet Short has the right to terminate your account permissions immediately. Such acts constitute a material breach of contract, and the Platform may deduct your paid fees as liquidated damages and claim compensation for any shortfall.
7.4 Violation Disposal Measures
If Sweet Short discovers or confirms your violations via reports, we have the right to take the following measures (including but not limited to): (1) Delete or block relevant content; (2) Disconnect links; (3) Suspend or terminate services; (4) Freeze or cancel the account; (5) File a lawsuit. Sweet Short has the right to dispose of illegal content in accordance with this Agreement, but is not obligated to monitor all content in real time or guarantee immediate identification of all violations.
7.5 Liability for Breach Compensation
Your illegal acts may result in administrative penalties or litigation, and administrative or judicial authorities may require Sweet Short to cooperate with investigations in accordance with the law. You shall bear all resulting losses. If your acts cause damage to third parties, you shall provide independent compensation; if losses are incurred by Sweet Short, you shall fully indemnify us for all damages sustained.
8. Service Status, Force Majeure and Liability Limitation
8.1 Service As-Is Provision and Inherent Risks
You confirm and accept that Sweet Short provides services on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We will adopt commercially reasonable measures to maintain service stability, but cannot completely eliminate all risks, including but not limited to force majeure, computer viruses, hacker attacks, system failures, data loss, problems of third-party service providers, administrative control and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
8.2 Disclaimer for Service Interruption Caused by Force Majeure and Other Events
Sweet Short will endeavor to restore services if service interruption is caused by force majeure such as natural disasters, wars, unrest and government acts, but shall be exempt from compensation liability to the fullest extent permitted by law. Similarly, Sweet Short shall not be liable for service interruptions caused by computer viruses, hacker attacks, hardware/software or communication line failures, user operational errors or illegal usage not attributable to Sweet Short’s fault.
8.3 Disclaimer for Third-Party Content and User Behaviors
Online information and other users’ behaviors are uncontrollable. Sweet Short makes no warranty regarding the authenticity, validity or legality of information on the Platform. Sweet Short shall not be liable for any losses you suffer due to threatening, defamatory or illegal content published by other users, or fraud and false promotion conducted by others.
9. Service Adjustment, Interruption and Agreement Termination
Sweet Short reserves the right to adjust, temporarily shut down or permanently take offline platform services in accordance with operational plans. We may interrupt or terminate your access permission without prior notice under the following circumstances: (1) You provide false or contradictory materials; (2) You violate laws and regulations or this Agreement; (3) An instruction is issued by a government or judicial authority; (4) For account security or other necessary operational reasons.
10. Agreement Update, Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
10.1 Agreement Revision and Effectiveness
Your access to or usage of the services shall bind you to this Agreement. Sweet Short reserves the right to revise this Agreement in accordance with business development, and the latest version will be published on relevant pages. After the revision takes effect, your continued use of services shall be deemed acceptance of the updated clauses; please cease usage if you disagree.
10.2 Governing Law
The conclusion, validity and interpretation of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the designated region (excluding conflict of laws rules). All relevant disputes shall be handled in accordance with the laws of such region.
10.3 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising between you and Sweet Short shall first be resolved through amicable negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to the International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission of the designated region for arbitration in accordance with its effective arbitration rules at that time.
10.4 Miscellaneous Clauses
Chapter headings in this Agreement are for reading convenience only and shall not serve as the basis for clause interpretation. If any clause of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining clauses, which shall remain fully valid and binding on both parties.
